Around 7am on Monday 15 April 2019, a man walked into a fast food restaurant on William Street Perth and started to verbally abuse staff. The victim, a man in his late 60’s, who was eating some food, told the man to leave. The man approached the victim and began punching him multiple times to the head. The victim fell to the ground and the man then stomped on his head.

The man walked off and the victim was taken to hospital by ambulance. He was treated for concussion, bruising and swelling.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: Light skinned, around 50 years of age, medium build, long brown hair with possible dreadlocks. He was wearing a light-coloured long coat, dark long pants and a white cap. He was carrying a bag over his right shoulder.
