Around 3.25pm on Monday 10 August 2020 a man in his 40s was unloading work equipment when he was approached by two men and a woman. One of the men requested cigarettes and the use of the victim’s phone, which the victim refused. The man then repeatedly punched the victim in the face and pushed him to the ground. The man only stopped the attack when he was warned by the other man in his company that the police were coming. The group fled the scene in a silver Mazda. As a result of the attack the victim’s teeth were damaged and he received swelling to the face.

Police have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, large build, short brown hair and approximately 175cm tall. The man has a distinctive tattoo on the outside of his right calf. He wore black shorts, a black shirt and red sandals.
