At around 1.10pm on Sunday 27 February 2022, the victim was sitting outside a fast food store on Yellowwood Avenue in Harrisdale waiting for his friend who was inside the store. A man approached the victim and verbally abused the victim before grabbing the victim’s throat and pushing the victim up against the wall. A bystander intervened and the man walked off.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: white skinned, medium build, between 30 to 40 years of age with short brown receding hair. The man was wearing a beige sleeveless T-shirt, white shorts with thongs and sunglasses.
