Kensington Police are seeking assistance with an attempted burglary that occurred on a residential address on Esperance Street, East Victoria Park on Friday 22 March 2019.

Around 10:30pm two men have entered the backyard of a residential address and attempted to open two doors to gain entry to the home. During this time, the men have removed a CCTV camera from a wall and placed it in a bag.

An occupant at the address heard the men and when they moved inside the house the men heard that movement and ran from the address emptyhanded as they left the bag behind.

Police have released CCTV images of one of the men who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as fair skinned, 25-35 years of age with dark coloured hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a dark coloured checked shirt, shorts, sneakers and a cap.

If you have any information about the identity of this man or details of this offence please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. You can remain anonymous if you wish and rewards are available once charges are laid. Please quote Reference Number 9197.
