At around 7.45pm on Saturday 13 November 2021, the victim was riding an E-scooter along the footpath on Erindale Road in Gwelup when he was stopped by a man riding a BMX bicycle. The man demanded the victim hand over his E-scooter or he would stab the victim. The victim refused and pointed out a a police vehicle parked nearby resulting in the man riding off on his BMX.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 35 to 45 years of age with a goatee and short dark hair. He was wearing dark coloured knee length shorts and T-shirt with a baseball cap worn backwards.
