UPDATE: A 28 year old man from Port Kennedy has been charged with Burglary and Stealing.

Cannington Police are seeking assistance with a burglary incident that occurred at a shop along Adrian Street, Welshpool on Sunday 3 June 2018.

At approximately 5:30am an unknown man has forced entry into the premises using what is believed to be a battery operated angle grinder to cut through a large chain and padlock.

The man has then stolen a sum of money from the store before leaving the area in a vehicle heading toward Sevenoaks Street and the train line.

It is believed a woman was keeping watch of the street whilst this was taking place. The woman is described as wearing pants and hooded jumper.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as fair skinned and was last seen wearing a jumper, shorts and a baseball cap. He also has a brace on his right knee.
