Midland Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance with a burglary investigation in Forrestfield that occurred on Wednesday, 4 June 2025.

About 12.00am, two unknown males entered a house on Agati Place armed with a knife and a tomahawk. The pair confronted the 78-year-old male victim in his bed, made him get dressed and walk around the house as they demanded cash and property.

During the incident, it will be alleged, one of the males entered a shed/garage and damaged the victim’s speedway sprint car by pouring paint/a substance into the engine.

The males stole a quantity of Australian dollar 1 and 2 cent coins, liquor and a mobile phone before forcing the victim to lay face down on his stomach in a back room and count to fifty before leaving in an unknown direction.

Person 1: Male, approximately 180cm tall, of large build and spoke with a foreign accent. He was armed with a knife, wearing a balaclava and blue gloves, a black jumper with the hoodie on, black pants and wore black trainers.

Person 2: Male, approximately 170cm tall, of medium to slim build and spoke with a foreign accent. He was armed with a tomahawk, wearing a balaclava and blue and red gloves, a black jumper, black pants and wore black and silver trainers.
