At around 3.00am on Saturday 1 January 2022, an unknown offender climbed through the front bedroom window of a home on Kathleen Street in Cottesloe. An occupant in the home has woken from the noise and gone through to the bedroom causing the offender to jump back out the window with a handbag from the bedroom. A credit card in the stolen handbag was used later that day to make a fraudulent purchase in Innaloo.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: tanned skin, slim build, between 20 to 25 years of age, with collar length blonde/red hair and stubble on his chin. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt, grey shorts, grey baseball cap and brown sandals.
