At around 8.50am on Tuesday 22 August 2023, a man is seen on CCTV riding a bicycle on Tate Street in St James, stop and get off his bicycle when he sees the front door open to a home. The man walked up to the open door and cautiously entered the home. Once inside the man grabbed a pair of white Balenciaga casual shoes from a shoe storage unit near the front door before running out and riding away on his bicycle.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: tan skinned, slim build, between 40 to 50 years of age with an unshaven appearance. He was wearing a dark coloured checked flannelette shirt, light coloured pants, black joggers and a black bicycle helmet.
