Around 3.15am on Wednesday 19 February 2020, a man gained entry to a service station on Toodyay Road Gidgegannup by forcing the front door. After attempting to gain access to a cabinet containing cigarettes, he went to an ATM inside the store. After not being successful he left the store, returning a short time later with a large tool and extensively damaged the ATM.

 

A vehicle was seen to drive past the store a number of times at a slow speed prior to the burglary. The vehicle is described as light coloured, possibly a Toyota Kluger SUV with roof racks.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: medium build wearing a hooded top, material covering his face, long sleeved top and long pants.
