At around 11.40pm on Friday 22 April 2022, a man is seen walk up to the front doors of a jewellery store on Forrest Place in Perth and try pulling the doors open. The man then stepped back and threw a brick at the glass window of the jewellery store that bounces back off the window. The man tried a further two times unsuccessfully to smash the glass on the window before he is seen walking off.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with short black hair, thin beard and moustache. He was wearing a dark coloured jumper, beige pants and black runners.
