At around 11:15am on Thursday 28 January 2021 a bollard was damaged to allow a vehicle on to a sports oval on Hawkvalley Crescent in Maida Vale.

 

Once on the oval the vehicle did burn outs on the basketball court and across the grass, ripping up the turf.

 

There was four people inside the vehicle at the time. The vehicle is believed to have been driven by a light skinned man.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a vehicle that they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The vehicle is described as: white Toyota celica, bearing a Queensland number plate ‘471 YQD’.
