A man used an ATM on Kooyong Road Rivervale around 8.45pm on Monday 5 October 2020. At the completion of the transaction it appears as though he lost his temper. The man began to kick the screen and panel before trying to remove the screen. The man approached a nearby store explaining that he completed the transaction and no money came out and left the area in a white vehicle. The ATM was then seen with a damaged screen and wires exposed.

 

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: Light brown skinned, around 30 years of age, medium build with dark coloured facial hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap, worn backwards, a pink/orange long sleeve top and dark long pants. He was carrying a satchel over his left shoulder.
