At around 11.45am on Saturday 3 October 2020 a man and woman entered a liquor store on Princess Road in Balga.

The man appeared very agitated and was acting aggressively towards the woman.

The man grabbed hold of the door of a freezer, yanking on it until it broke off it’s hinges. He then punched a sign (ironically it was a police anti-shoplifting cut out) near the front of the store a number of times. The man exited the store, causing further disruption as he continued past other shops.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: 20-30 years old, tanned skin, medium build, with short dark hair and a moustache. He wore a dark navy/black shirt.

If you have any information about the identity of this man or details of this offence please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at You can remain anonymous if you wish and rewards are available once charges are laid.   Please quote Reference Number 9816.
