At around 11:00am on Tuesday 27 October 2020 a staff member at a medical facility on Albany Highway was assisting an elderly patient into a wheel chair when her phone and wallet was stolen from behind the reception desk. Shortly after the phone and wallet was stolen multiple transactions were made at liquor stores, petrol stations and other stores around the Cannington area. The card was also used to make an online transaction.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: tanned skin and medium build. He wore a white hat, black sunglasses and a white shirt.
