At around 6.25pm on Sunday 19 September 2021, a woman entered a hardware store on Balcatta Road in Balcatta and walked into the pool chemical section. She is seen on CCTV recorded select a bucket of liquid chlorine and two packets of pool chemical stabiliser. The woman then took these items to the service desk where she produced a receipt for the same items and requested a refund. After receiving a refund she left the store.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The woman is described as: light skinned, medium build, with blonde hair tied back into a bun. She was wearing a light coloured top, black leggings, thongs and a black head band.
