At around 7.30pm on Tuesday 12 September 2023, a woman entered a pharmacy on Berrigan Drive in South Lake and presented a prescription for medication to be dispensed. The staff member was suspicious due to the appearance of the prescription and the quantity of medication indicated to be dispensed. A phone call to the doctor listed on the prescription confirmed it was not prescribed by the doctor. The woman was advised and left the pharmacy.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 40 to 50 years of age with black hair tied back. She was wearing a blue and white floral dress.
