At around 5.00pm on Wednesday 1 March 2023, two women walked into the cool room inside a liquor store on Canning Highway in Como. One of the women took two 10 packs of pre-mixed whiskey off the shelf and walked up to the cashier and paid for the alcohol. Shortly after the women walked out of the store the staff member found one of the cash notes given to her by the woman was a fake note.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 35 to 40 years of age with long brunette hair tied back into a pony tail. She was wearing a white t-shirt, navy blue knee length shorts with thongs and sunglasses.
