At around 3.15pm on Saturday 9 September 2023, the victim parked and locked his vehicle in the car park at the G.O. Edwards Park on Great Eastern Highway in Burswood. When the victim returned to his vehicle just over two hours later he found the driver’s side window smashed and his small black hip bag missing from under the front passenger seat containing two bank cards. Early that same evening an unknown person used one of the bank cards to make a fraudulent purchase nearby.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 25 to 35 years of age with long black hair and tattoos on her right arm. She was wearing a beige ‘Everlast’ t-shirt and a blue skirt with slippers.
