At around 3.00pm on Sunday 11 June 2023, the victim attended a shopping centre on Great Eastern Highway in Midland and attempted to make a purchase using her phone, however her card declined. The victim checked her bank account and discovered fraudulent transactions had been made and that her bank card used to make the fraudulent transactions was missing from her purse.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: dark skinned, slim build, between 40-50 years of age with shoulder length dark hair and facial hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket and a black Nike backpack.
