At around 12.30pm on Saturday 10 April 2021, a vehicle parked in the Herdsman Lake car park was broken into and a handbag was removed containing a credit card.

Later that same day a man entered a liquor store on Scarborough Beach Road in Mount Hawthorn and used the stolen credit card to purchase alcohol.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: medium build, short dark brown hair, some facial hair with a tattoo on his right forearm and another on the back of his neck. He was wearing a distinctive T-shirt with “TOMMY’ written on the front, a navy blue cap and navy blue shorts.
