At around 6.51am on Sunday 20 June 2021, a man entered a Deli store on William Street in Northbridge and made two fraudulent purchases using a stolen bank card. The bank card was inside a backpack stolen off a table in a bar in Northbridge a few hours earlier. A total of nine fraudulent purchases were made using the stolen bank card in Northbridge, East Perth and Mount Lawley.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: tanned skin, slim build, short dark brown hair, between 25 to 35 years of age with an unshaven appearance. He was wearing a grey Nike jumper, beige trousers, black shoes with a black shoulder bag.
