At around 11.10am on Wednesday 14 April 2021, a woman used a stolen bank card to make two withdrawals from a bank ATM on Yirrigan Drive in Mirrabooka.
Less than an hour earlier a purse was stolen from inside a trolley belonging to a victim aged in her eighties. Unfortunately the victim had written down the PIN code for the bank card onto a piece of paper also contained within the purse.
Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The woman is described as: tanned skin, medium build between 35 to 45 years of age. She was wearing a white top, grey tracksuit pants, white socks with a dark coloured cap over a grey cloth sun shield.
