BACKGROUND:

At the time of her disappearance Ms Greenham was 28 years old and living with her husband on a large property in Bootenal in the Shire of Greenough WA, which later became the City of Greater Geraldton.

Ms Greenham was casually employed as a general clerical assistant at the Stella Maris College in Geraldton and was described as extremely efficient, diligent and conscientious. She was well respected by her colleagues.

CASE DETAILS:

Prior to August 1987, Ms Greenham and her husband’s friends stayed the night with the couple on their way to Exmouth. Ms Greenham was described by friends as relaxed, in good spirits and extremely happy. The Greenham’s friends agreed to visit Ms Greenham and her husband on their return from Exmouth.

Ms Greenham was due to attend a meeting at 1pm on Friday 21 August 1987 at the Stella Maris College, but failed to do so. Repeated calls from the college to Ms Greenham’s home that afternoon went unanswered. Ms Greenham’s husband answered a telephone call later that evening from the college and advised the caller that Ms Greenham had left him that day.

On Thursday August 27 1987, the Greenham’s friends returned from Exmouth, visting the Greenham’s on their return journey to Perth. Ms Greenham was not present.

Despite extensive inquiries no confirmed sightings of Mrs Greenham have been made. She has not accessed bank accounts and there are no records of her leaving the country.

The person or persons responsible for Miss Greenham’s disappearance have not yet been identified.
