At around 2.20am on Wednesday 14 April 2021, a person driving a silver Holden Commodore on the Kwinana Freeway in Bateman was detected travelling at 171km per hour by a speed measuring device, where the speed limit is 100km per hour.

At around 2.26am on the same day the same vehicle was on the Mitchell Freeway in Innaloo detected travelling at 179km per hour by a speed measuring device, where the speed limit is 100km per hour.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 25 to 30 years of age with short dark brown hair. He was wearing black trousers with a white T-shirt with a black pattern on the front.
