Around 11.45pm on Saturday 18 May 2019, a man was asked to leave a licensed premises on Newcastle Street Leederville and police are alleging that he drove his vehicle recklessly through a nearby carpark. The male crashed into cars parked in the car park causing significant damage and left the area.

Police have charged a 29-year-old man from Hocking with the following offences:

• Criminal Damage or destruction not due to fire.

• Excess 0.08g of alcohol per 100ml of blood.

• Reckless Driving.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear again in the Perth Magistrates Court on 4 June 2019.
