At around 5.50pm on Saturday 11 June 2022, the victim (14 years of age) and her friend were at a bus stop on Beach Road. A group of five females unknown to the victim arrived at the bus stop and surrounded the victim challenging her to fight. When the victim refused one of the females grabbed the victim’s hair and pulled her towards the ground. Another female grabbed the victim’s air pods out of her pocket and ripped a silver chain off her neck as she felt a blow to her eye with a hard object.

The bus arrived and both the victim and her friend escaped onto the bus.

Police have released CCTV images of three females who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The first female is described as: light skinned, slim build with long light brown hair. She was wearing a white jumper with black pants and carrying a black shoulder bag.

The second female is described as: : light skinned, slim build with long light brown hair. She was wearing a black and white jumper with black pants and carrying a black shoulder bag.

The third female is described as: tan skinned with a slim build. She was wearing a black Adidas hooded jumper, black shorts with black and white shoes.
