At around 6.07pm on Saturday 10 June 2023, a group of five people started to exit a liquor store on Beechboro Road in Beechboro after an attempted purchase with a bank card was declined. As they did this a young male from the group jumped over the counter and grabbed a bottle of Bourbon off the shelf. The staff member ran up to the male who grabbed her throat and pushed her away before jumping back over the counter and running off with the Bourbon.

Police have released CCTV images of a male who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The male is described as: brown skinned, slim build with short straight black hair. He was wearing a black hooded puff jacket, black trousers with black joggers.
