Perth Detectives are seeking information regarding a robbery that occurred on Friday, 12 April 2019 in the grounds of a hotel and entertainment complex in Burswood.

Just after 4am, a woman in her 30s was walking to her vehicle located in the car park when a Hyundai Elantra drove past her slowly and stopped nearby.

A man exited the vehicle and ran up behind the woman, grabbing her handbag from her shoulder.  The woman held onto her bag and they struggled for a short time before the man pushed her to the ground.

The offender ran back to the car with her handbag and drove away.  The woman received abrasions to her face and hands and was treated by medical staff.

The Hyundai Elantra was identified as being stolen and was involved in a fuel drive off at a service station on Canning Highway in South Perth a short time later.

Detectives wish to identify the man in the photo shown, who they believe can assist them with this investigation.

If you have any information about the identity of this man or details of this offence please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
