At around 3.20pm on Friday 17 March 2023, the young victim was returning home from school and waiting at the pick-up and set-down area at the Currambine Train Station in Currambine. Two males approached the victim saying they had a knife and demanded to search the victim’s pockets and bag. After finding nothing they told the victim to take off his Nike shoes, which one of the males took from the victim before they both ran off.

Police have released CCTV images of  a male person who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The male is described as: tan skinned, slim build, between 18 to 20 years of age with black wavy hair and some facial hair. He was wearing a grey Adidas jumper, grey shorts, grey runners and a black cap.
