At around 4.35pm on Sunday 28 August 2022, a man entered a general store on Ferguson Street in Midvale and walked up to the front counter demanding the staff member give him cash from the till. When she refused, the man walked behind the counter and shoved her backwards, again demanding cash. The staff member opened the till and the man removed all the cash notes and left the store.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 25 to 35 years of age with short dark coloured hair and faded tattoos on his right arm. He was wearing a camo shirt, blue pants, a black cap and carried a brown paper packet.
