Just after 8:45am on Sunday 27 October 2019 a man entered a store inside a shopping centre on Great Eastern Highway, Rivervale.


Whilst in the store, the man removed items from the shelf and hid them under his jumper and in his pants and attempted to leave the store.


The victim, a man in his 40’s, confronted the male and was subsequently assaulted. A wall within the store was also damaged during the incident.


Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.


The male is described as: Light skinned, late teens/early 20’s, blonde hair and a medium build. He was wearing a red hooded top and long dark pants.
