At around 10.30pm on Saturday 9 December 2023, two men walked into a convenience store on Hay Street in Perth and asked the staff member if they could purchase vapes. An argument about the price of the vapes ensued until one of the men threatened to punch the staff member if he didn’t hand over some vapes. The staff member handed over four vapes and the men left the store without paying for the four vapes or a bottle of Powerade.

Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The first man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 20 to 30 years of age with curly black hair and a tattoo on the inside of his left forearm. He was wearing a light blue shirt.

The second man is described as: light skinned, between 20 to 30 years of age, short reddish- brown hair, red beard and moustache with a tattoo on his right forearm. He was wearing a multi-coloured shirt with grey trousers.
