Joondalup Detectives are seeking information regarding an incident that occurred in Wanneroo on Saturday, 2 November 2019 in which a woman was assaulted.

 

About 8.30pm, a woman in her 20s was walking her dog along Paltara Way when a man approached her from behind, placing his hand across her mouth. Whilst holding her he searched her pockets.

 

The woman was able to break free from the man and he walked away.

 

He is described as 35 to 40 years of age, with a stocky build, brown skin, approximately 170cms tall, and has a thin moustache. The man was wearing a light grey tracksuit with a dark coloured logo on the front of the top, and a grey beanie.

 

Detectives have released a composite image of a man, who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
