Midland Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Swan View on Wednesday, 1 May 2019.

Around 3pm, a woman in her 50’s, was in her car in a carpark on Pechy Road, near the intersection of Morrison Road.

A woman tapped on the victim’s car window and the victim wound it down. The woman grabbed a gold chain from the victim’s neck. During a struggle the chain snapped and the woman ran off.

Police have released a composite image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

She is described as having a tanned completion, in her 30’s, 168cm tall, with a slight build, brown eyes and dark brown curly hair tied up. She was wearing a black baggy jumper with a hood and black baggy pants.
