At around 12.05pm on Sunday 31 July 2022, the victim was walking on Perilya Road in Craigie while holding her iPhone 12. An unknown man grabbed the victim’s neck from behind forcing the victim to the ground at the same time snatching the victim’s iPhone out of her hand. The victim screamed for help and bystanders came to her assistance as the man ran off.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: tanned skin, slim build with an unshaven appearance. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, black pants, black scarf with sunglasses.
