Mirrabooka Detectives are seeking assistance from the public with their investigation into a robbery at a carpark on Railway Parade, Bayswater on Saturday 15 September 2018.

Around 1:30pm the 45 year old male victim was entering his vehicle when he was approached by a man. The man pulled the victim from the vehicle, assaulted him and stole a blue backpack before running from the area.

The victim ran after the man and was able to collect the backpack which had been thrown away by the man. A wallet containing cash and credit cards was removed from the backpack by the man. The victim received minor injuries as a result of the incident.

Detectives believe the man pictured may be able to assist with their investigation.

He is described as brown skinned, 20-30 years of age and a medium build. He was wearing a black peaked cap, orange hi-vis jacket and dark long pants.
