At around 8.03pm on Sunday 1 December 2024, a man approached the victims house on Schofield Street in Hamilton Hill to purchase some jewellery that had been advertised on social media. When the man arrived at the house, he asked to try on the jewellery before committing to the purchase. When the victim gave him the jewellery to try on, the man pushed the victim. She fell to the ground and knocked her head against a wall, sustaining minor injuries. The man proceeded to run away with the jewellery.

Police have released CCTV images of the man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: tanned skinned, average build with a dark thin moustache. He was wearing a black hoodie, blue running shorts, sneakers and a bandana.
