At around 9.10pm on Friday 13 August 2021, two men approached the victim who was standing on his own outside a licensed premises on Southside Drive in Sorrento and demanded he hand over his silver necklace. When the victim refused, one of the men produced a knife while the other man punched the victim to his face. The victim removed his necklace and handed it over to one of the men.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 18 to 25 years of age with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt, red pants, white runners with a blue jumper wrapped around his shoulders.
