At around 7.00am on Thursday 13 April 2023, the victim discovered his Subaru station sedan stolen from his parking bay in the secure basement parking of an apartment block on Hay Street in Perth. The victim believes the offending person located a spare key left in the unlocked car to steal the Subaru. The stolen Subaru was involved in an accident later that day where a man was seen run from the scene of the accident.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark coloured jacket over a white t-shirt, black pants, black shoes and a black medical face mask.
