At around 8.30am on Friday 17 November 2023, the victim was unloading shopping bags from her car on Newcastle Street in Northbridge. As the victim entered her home, an unknown man was seen on CCTV entering the victim’s vehicle. The victim heard the vehicle starting and ran out and confronted the man who calmly exited the vehicle and walked off. The woman discovered the man had taken items from the centre console and shoved them into his duffel bag.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: athletic build, tanned skinned with tattoos covering both legs and one arm, and short dark hair with facial hair. The man was wearing black sunglasses, a black Under Armour gym top, black gym shorts, dark sneakers and was carrying a black duffle bag.
