Around 3pm on Saturday 5 September 2020, a man was in a ride share vehicle and got out at a shopping centre on Albany Highway Bentley. Soon after, the driver realised that his wallet had been stolen from the middle console of his vehicle by the passenger he had just dropped off.

 

He then checked the account balance of his debit card on his phone. He noticed transactions taking place amounting to nearly $150 inside the shopping centre, before he cancelled the card.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: Brown skinned, around 30 years of age, medium build, short dark hair and facial hair. He was wearing a brown jumper and black shorts.
