At around 5.45pm on Saturday 16 December 2023, a man is seen on CCTV approach a shoe and watch repair kiosk that was closed for business inside a shopping centre on Albany Highway in East Victoria Park. The man reached over the counter, pulled open a drawer and removed a $2000 mens silver Longines wrist watch waiting to be collected by the elderly owner.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: tan skinned, slim build, between 30 to 35 years of age with very short back and sides haircut, moustache and unshaven appearance with tattoos visible on his left arm. He was wearing a blue Fila t-shirt, Navy blue sports shorts, black cap, black runners and carried a black backpack.
