At around 4.35pm on Saturday 21 January 2023, a woman entered a hardware store on Albany Highway in Maddington and took a pack of four security cameras off the shelf and put the cameras into an esky she had grabbed along the way. As the woman exited the store from the garden section she was approached by a staff member who managed to retrieve the esky and cameras. The woman drove away in a white Kia displaying stolen registration plates.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: tan skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with black shoulder length hair. She was wearing a grey sports singlet, grey shorts with a green cap and was carrying a grey or green coloured shoulder bag.
