At around 10.55am on Wednesday 15 December 2021, a man entered a hardware store on Alexander Road in Belmont and placed a Ryobi Drill and Jigsaw into his basket. The man walked to another section of the store and placed these two items into his backpack. When the man tried to exit the store wiyhout making payment he was approached by a staff member who retrieved both the drill and jigsaw.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 45 to 55 years of age with a shaved head. He was wearing a black T-shirt wit ‘Stranger Things’ printed on the front, beige knee length shorts, grey shoes and sunglasses.
