At around 7.40am on Sunday 6 October 2024, CCTV recorded a white SUV stop in front of a residence on Amethyst Place in Maida Vale. A man is seen exit the SUV and walk up to the passenger side of a panel van parked on the driveway and smash the side window with a rock. The man removed a bag with two Makita battery drills and a box of Yugioh collector cards, before returning to the SUV and driving away.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 40 to 50 years of age with short brown hair, balding on top and a moustache and goatee. He was wearing a hi-vis orange singlet, black pants, black sneakers and sunglasses.
