Around midday on Thursday 14 March 2019, a woman entered a retail store on Bay View Terrace Claremont and approached a display of sunglasses. After looking at them for a short time, she selected two pairs and placed down the front of her top. She then left the store without paying for them.

The sunglasses are valued at over $1,500.

Police have released an image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The woman is described as: Light skinned, 35-40 years of age and a solid build. She was wearing a dark coloured baseball cap, green top and blue jeans. Carrying a large handbag.
