Around 2.20pm on Tuesday 8 October 2019, a man entered a clothing store on Bayview Terrace Claremont.
The man walked to the menswear section and selected four pairs of designer jeans. He wandered around for a short time, before leaving the store without paying for the items. He was followed by staff members to the car park where he was seen getting into what is believed to be a ride share vehicle. The jeans were recovered and the man left the area in the vehicle.
Police have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: Light skinned, around 30 years of age, very large build and short dark hair. He was wearing a light-coloured t-shirt and has tattoos on his left forearm.
