At around 11.30am on Wednesday 14 August 2024, a man entered a department store on Bayview Terrace in Claremont walking straight to the fragrance section. The man ignored a staff member asking him if he needed assistance before taking two bottles of Versace cologne and running from the store without making payment.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 25 to 35 years of age with a short beard and thin moustache. He was wearing a red jumper, tan pants, black sneakers, white cap and was carrying a shoulder bag and black backpack.
