At around 2.05pm on Sunday 21 January 2024, four women entered a retail store on Bayview Terrace in Claremont and headed to the handbag display area. All of the women are seen taking multiple handbags off the display racks and place them into shopping bags they were carrying. They exited the store making no attempt to pay for any of the handbags taken.

Police have released CCTV images of four women who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The first woman is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 30 to 35 years of age with shoulder length black hair. She was wearing a white crop top, black trousers with black shoes.

The second woman is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 25 to 30 years of age with long black hair. She was wearing a black jacket over a blue t-shirt, blue shorts and white socks with a medical face mask.

The third woman is described as: brown skinned, medium build, between 30 to 35 years of age with shoulder length black hair. She was wearing a black ‘Everlast’ t-shirt, grey sports shorts and Adidas slides.

The fourth woman is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 35 to 45 years of age with black curly hair tied up into a bun. She was wearing a navy blue and white sports shirt, blue denim shorts with Nike sides.
